Stijn De Cauwer


Stijn De Cauwer teaches courses in cultural studies and visual studies at the University of Leuven and RITCS School of Arts. After obtaining his PhD at the University of Utrecht, he was a postdoctoral researcher in literary studies and cultural studies at the University of Leuven for 6 years, funded by the Research Foundation –  Flanders (FWO).  Amongst various other publications, he co-edited a special issue of Angelaki about the work of Georges Didi-Huberman (2018), edited Critical Theory at a Crossroads: Conversations on Resistance in Times of Crisis (Columbia University Press, 2018) and co-edited 50 Key Terms in Contemporary Cultural Theory (Pelckmans Pro, 2017).
