"Real metamorphosis": The work of Wolfgang Tillmans through the prism of art history and photography.
Alexander Streitberger is Professor of Art History at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve, and Director of the Lieven Gevaert Research Center for Photography, Art and Visual Culture. He is co-editor of Lieven Gevaert Series, a collection of books on the history and theory of photography. His fields of research and publications focus on the relationship between image and language in art, on the place of photography in contemporary art and visual culture, and on the panorama and other immersive devices to the digital age.
