Research

The primary aim of the Lieven Gevaert Centre (LGC) is the study of photography, art and visual culture in an interdisciplinary and international perspective. At the LGC, photography, art and visual culture is studied both at graduate level and at PhD level (including PhD’s in Curatorial Research related to this domain). In addition, the LGC aims at the realization of applied and contract research on specific projects linked to photography, art and visual culture.
