For the third year in a row, Monokino, CINEA and KAAP organise SHHH, the only festival in the world that declares its love for silent film and the sea. Besides film screenings, live music, an exhibition and a workshop for children, there is the ever impressive sea, and the opportunity to enjoy good food and have a drink. LGC-fellow Erien Withouck will be showing her work on the exhibition trail. On view are On Wind Knots (2021), which consists of photowork, a publication and a video; and Trouwens, rauwe wortelen eten geeft een klare stem (2021), which is a sound installation.
